About This Blog and the Author

Journal / Random Notes

Welcome.

This is a place where “a person aiming for FIRE in three and a half years” records small everyday adventures.

Some days don’t go as planned; sometimes I feel like giving up halfway.
But I believe there are things you can notice only when you’re still “in the middle of the journey,” so I decided to write little by little.

Life isn’t neatly divided into just investing, just hobbies, or just work.
There are days when I worry about my home loan, reset my mind by going fishing, or spend weekends researching investment opportunities.
Somewhere within that “messy reality,” I feel like there are hints for a more authentic way of living.

About the Author

At work, I often wonder, “Where exactly is the sense of purpose?”
That’s why I’ve been exploring ways to find meaning in my life through small lifestyle tweaks and hobbies.

I enjoy going outdoors, capturing memories with my camera, experiencing the ups and downs of investing,
and working on DIY projects like maintaining my PC, shelves, or car.

I never had a clear vision of “what I want to become,”
so I’ve been avoiding “what I don’t want to become” while trying various hobbies and living as enjoyably as I can.
I think it’s about time I finally discover what I truly want to do—and maybe even find a sense of purpose (lol).

What I’ll Write About on This Blog

  • Home-building and lifestyle improvements: balancing ideals and reality
  • Investment experiences: honest records including failures and successes
  • Stories from work: encounters with unique people, moments, and insights
  • Various hobbies: how I started, how I continue, and how to enjoy them without overspending
  • Daily notes: thoughts of the day and small reflections

The reason I started aiming for FIRE is because I felt like “my possibilities won’t expand if I stay the same.”
To regain economic freedom and my own time, I’m nurturing my investments, lifestyle, and hobbies.

Theme and Spirit of This Blog

“Better than yesterday, better than today—tomorrow, even more so.”

I’m not trying to accomplish something huge.
I simply want to stack days where tomorrow is a little more enjoyable than today,
and today is slightly better than yesterday.
No rushing, no fussing, no pretending.
That’s the mindset I plan to carry on with.

How to Navigate This Blog (Categories & Languages)

This blog supports multiple languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
I only speak Japanese, but I use ChatGPT to translate everything because I wanted to know “How would people overseas feel when reading my posts?”

● PC: language switcher in the right sidebar
● Smartphone: language switcher in the header

There are five main categories, each with subcategories.
Navigation buttons let you browse by:
“all posts,” “category,” or “subcategory,”
so please read in the style you prefer.

Lastly

This is still a pre-open phase.
Starting tomorrow, I plan to publish at least one post per day.

I’d be happy if you drop by casually and enjoy reading.

I’m not fluent in English, but I really wanted to share this story.
So I tried my best using translation tools to write this post.
If you find anything that sounds strange, unnatural, or offensive,
please let me know in the comments.
I’ll check it carefully, translate your feedback, and fix it.
Thank you for reading!
